HafenCity mixed-use building, Hamburg, Germany
This mixed-use building is the most recent development in Hamburg's HafenCity by Richard Meier & Partners and it will combine the new Engel & Volkers headquarters, luxury condominiums, and rental apartments. The project is one of the largest rebuilding projects in Europe by landmass taking up approximately 2.2 sq km. The 16-storey ensemble is expected to be completed in 2018, and it aspires to contribute to the redevelopment of Hamburg's HafenCity district and to the skyline of the city. >>>

Designed by Aedas, Shenzhen Luohu Friendship Trading Centre is a redevelopment of a current department store to be transfigured into a new skyscraper with a 7-storey retail podium at the heart of Luohu in Shenzhen, China. The design creates a vibrant and porous podium by staggering up various retail boxes in dynamic and organic forms in response to the bustling surroundings, delivering a new sustainable and iconic design for the city. >>>
