Hudson Mosaic skyscraper, New York City, USA

Herzog & de Meuron, partnering with Curtis + Ginsberg Architects, has proposed a tall residential tower in Manhattan's Hudson Square with a geometric brick facade inspired by nearby historic styles. The lower levels house a community recreation center with pools and gyms, topped by an outdoor plaza for public use. All apartments are designated as affordable, including units for transitional housing, to address local needs.
