COFCO Qianhai HQ by Goettsch Partners, Shenzhen, China

As Shenzhen in China continues to develop at a rapid pace Chicago-based architecture firm Goettsch Partners (GP) has won the design competition for the new 129,000 sq m, two-tower COFCO Qianhai Asia Pacific Headquarters complex, located in the emerging Qianhai district of the city. With investment from parent company COFCO Group, the 200m tall COFCO Asia Pacific Tower will serve as the headquarters for the company’s Asia Pacific group, while the 180m tall Aviva-COFCO Financial Tower will provide space for the Aviva-COFCO Life Insurance Company. Wangjing SOHO, Beijing, China (3D animation)

Located in Wangjing's centre, Wangjing Soho is a mixed-use development consisting of three towers 118, 127, 200 meters in height designed as three interweaving 'mountains' that fuse building and landscape to bring together the surrounding community with a new 60,000m2 public park.
