| The Software Town Baisha Cluster, an expansive addition to the city that will primarily accommodate research facilities for new technologies, is being built to the east of Zhengzhou's city center. The Baisha Cluster comprises three islands grouped around a central lake. After successfully participating in the urban-planning competition, gmp was commissioned to plan the central administration building that marks the center of the overall complex.
