The Sarang Community Church, Suwon-si, South Korea

The building site of The Sarang Church is facing the 40m road on north. Since it is located at northern corner of the block, it is the first object that the car drivers will recognize right after they get out of the tunnel. First priority for the church program is designing the main chapel. We created the semi-circular plan with 2,000 seats as a main chapel and we overlapped the semi-circular mass with the existing atypical mass. >>>
