Well known for its beautiful setting, Elounda Beach, in Crete, Greece provides an amazing location for architects Davide Macullo and Makis Lahanas’s contemporary bungalows. The project, currently under construction, aims to link the scale of the land with that of the sea and to provide intimacy at the same time as allowing a wide view of the horizon. Set back on the coast the houses face the water as though they were anchored yachts, whilst on the land side they suggest a more urban atmosphere.
