Pyramid Tower by Daniel Libeskind, Jerusalem, Israel
Conceived by Daniel Libeskind, who created Berlin’s Jewish Museum and New York City’s World Trade Center master plan, the Pyramid Tower will be a 26-storey, mixed-use building. It will be constructed next to the Mahane Yehuda market in the centre of the Israeli city, atop of the ruins of the old Eden theatre.
Designed in conjunction with local architect Yigal Levi, the tower will contain 200 luxury apartments, a boutique hotel, and a rooftop restaurant and observatory that will offer sweeping views. With a height of 105 metres, it will be just 16 metres shorter than the... >>>

Vietnam's tallest skyscraper by Atkins, Ho Chi Minh City
British architect Atkins has started work on a 460-metre-high skyscraper in Ho Chi Minh City, which is set to become the tallest building in Vietnam on completion. Located on the banks of the Saigon River, the 81-storey mixed-use tower by local developers Vingroup will claim the title from the 345-metre Landmark 72 in Hanoi.
The Vincom Landmark 81 will rise from a square footprint as 25 thin sections of various heights, with shorter elements topped with roof gardens around the edges and taller parts of the glass-clad structure located in the centre. >>>
