Hanking Center Tower by Morphosis, Shenzhen, China
The major structure for Hanking Center Tower topped out last week, with the slab for the 62nd floor now in place. Designed by Morphosis Architects, the 1150 ft (350m) high, 2,000,000 sq ft (190,000 sq m) supertall in Shenzhen, China lifts commercial office space from a base of high-end retail and dining. When complete, Hanking Center Tower will be tallest steel building in China, and the tallest detached core building in the world. The projected opening date for the building is 2018. >>>
