Highlands College
College environments have a direct and measurable impact on student and teacher performance. They allow students and teachers to take pride in their environment and education. Educational places must be designed to encourage learning.
The Vision
The goal was to create an environment that offers the students and teachers a sense of pride. In addition to satisfying the demands for a College, OCD envisioned a simple building design.
The Design
Value and sustainability were two important goals in determining the design of this facility.
A simple building envelope allowed more teaching space. The spatial and interior design of the colours and graphics provided great visual interest.
