| 400 Westlake is a redevelopment of the two-story landmarked Firestone Tire building that is making a new kind of history as one of the most sustainable buildings of its size in the world. When redeveloped, the 1929 Art Deco building will generate more energy than it consumes, process water and waste on-site, use non-toxic materials and be resilient to certain natural disasters. The newly designed building includes an addition of a 13-story office tower and two levels of underground parking. The ground floor of the historic Firestone building will offer 789 square meters of retail space. >>> |
