With innovation as a central design ethos, the Arup design references the local cultural icon of lotus and the stepped rice terraces, enabling this new Hoa Lac National Innovation Centre to become a first-of-its-kind landmark in Vietnam. Arup has been engaged by the Ministry of Planning and Investment to provide the architectural consultancy and concept design, structural engineering, urban design, etc. services for the National Innovation Centre, to create a world-class technology startup ecosystem in Vietnam and contribute to the implementation of the national strategy on Industry 4.0.
