Yinchuan Towers by Höweler+Yoon, Yinchuan, China

This competition for a 2.2 million square foot mixed use complex in Yinchuan, China proposes four towers arranged in a pin-wheel pattern around a central courtyard. The podium footprint is derived from the footprints of the towers, and a language of folded plates ties the podium and towers together.
