272 Hedges Avenue project is an important marker in the urban landscape marking the transition from the low rise residential precinct of Mermaid Beach to the high rise typologies of Broadbeach. The Pedestal design brings a human scale to the project which allows the tower to respond at the scale of the pedestrian and contribute to the beachside public realm. The 44 storey residential tower marks a point of transition for the coast's urban form, marking the southern boundary of the high density zone.
