Airport by Twelve Architects, Novy Urengoy, Russia

London-based Twelve Architects has secured Novy Urengoy Airport in Russia following the announcement that Airports of the Regions, part of the Renova Group one of Russia's leading private business conglomerates, has agreed with Yamelo Nenets Regional Government a concession to redevelop and operate the Airport. The new airport is an integral part of the ongoing regeneration of Russia’s airport infrastructure. Novy Urengoy is situated next to one of the world's largest gas fields and the airport will serve the city and the regional oil and gas industry.
