Water – the source of Hangzhou's identity - is the source of orientation and serves to establish the identity for this new Urban Garden in the "Eastlake" district in Hangzhou, as well as act as the main organizing feature for the buildings surrounding it. The garden's main elements are the two 300 meter towers proposed by Coop Himmelb(l)au.
