New Zenit Stadium, Saint Petersburg, Russia

The arena will be the home stadium of the FC Zenit St Petersburg and it is located on the western side of the Krestovsky Island. The stadium will be a host for the 2018 World Cup and it has a capacity of 68000 seats for soccer games as well as room for 84000 people during cultural events.

The field will be removable when completed and along with the retractable roof it will improve the overall functionality. The roof is suspended on eight large masts and it during the nighttime it acts as a beacon for its surroundings due to the powerful illumination features employed in the design.
