Gate of the Orient by RMJM, Suzhou, China

The Gate to the East, also known as the Gate of the Orient, is a $700 Million skyscraper under construction in Suzhou, Jiangsu. It is intended to be a gateway to the city that emphasizes the city’s continuing significance in today’s China. The building is to be around 300 metres (980 ft) high, and located in the heart of Suzhou’s central business district.
