Vorarlberg boasts great resource: wood. For many centuries, timber of this area has been the most important building material.

Today it is again used more intensively and in an innovative way. The ecological construction method of Vorarlberg's wood architecture is applied both in public, commercial and private buildings and has become famous far beyond Austria's borders. Architecture, ecology and good craftsmanship are considered the major components.
