Girard College, Philadelphia, USA (Video clip)
Founder's Hall, the original classroom building for Girard College is one of the best examples of Greek Revival architecture in the U.S.



Thomas U. Walter won the first national architectural competition for this project. When completed in 1847, it was the second most costly building in the nation. Stephen Girard the school benefactor, was the wealthiest man in America. His tomb is in the foyer of Founders Hall.
