The concept of the project is creating a vertical city in Shanghai due to the city's overpopulation and pollution problems
that have arisen due to the county's rapid modernization and industrialization. It is set in 2112. The inspiration of the project comes from terrace farming in China as well as organic growth and cellular mitosis. This is clearly seen in the way the skin of the building grows.
