Seattle's first LEED hotel-condo completes |
|
MulvannyG2 Architecture, in venture with Gluckman Mayner Architects, has completed a new hotel and residential high-rise tower in the Denny Triangle area of Downtown Seattle.
The 39-storey project, developed by the R.C. Hedreen Company at the southwest corner of 8th and Olive, includes luxury one-and two-bedroom residential units, as well as penthouses, atop a full-service Hyatt Hotel. Street-level uses include the luxurious eco-friendly Elaia spa and sophisticated Urbane restaurant.
Certified USGBC LEED® Silver, this is Seattle’s first LEED certified hotel-condo project with one of the city’s largest green roofs. The sustainable features decrease water costs by 32%, reduce energy bills by 20%, and lower stormwater runoff. |
