The OMA Busan Slope Housing project redevelops the steep hillsides of Busan, blending modern housing with the area's history. Instead of high-rises, it integrates new homes with the existing landscape. The hillsides, once home to displaced populations after the Korean War, are central to the city's identity. The design includes two contrasting sites, balancing informal settlements with modern estates, and features a pedestrian network connecting key public spaces.
