Augsburg Bridge, Augsburg, Germany (3D animation)

We are delighted to present our first inspiring collaboration with the recently founded Studio Bruch Architekten. To provide a pedestrian connection between two green areas in Augsburg, the architects created a minimalistic bridge design that could also allow huge trucks occasionally pass under. The extra space needed for the large vehicles is created by the exposed gear mechanism which flips the bridge over.
