Hongshi Group Headquarters, Hangzhou, China

The plot for the new building is in the Jianggan District of Hangzhou. For its new corporate headquarters, the client wanted a glass high-rise. Measuring 160 meters, the tower takes full advantage of the maximum permissible building height for this location and marks the northern end of the park on the Qiantang River. The ground plan for the tower and base structure comprises a basic shape made up of two rectangles. A sunken garden faces the park and leads to a small shopping zone on the basement floor.
