Yelo Architects are looking for a disciplined project architect who has a rigorous approach to their work as well as a passion for architecture. Candidates must have 3-5 years post qualification UK residential experience preferably working with both housing associations and private clients.
You will be managing a range of projects concurrently which may include medium scale residential (30-80 units) as well as smaller residential projects for private developers and homeowners.
Responsibilities will also include managing the larger project team as well as supporting the Directors by overseeing junior staff on a day to day basis. As part of the role you will also be expected to mentor younger members of staff carrying out their Part 3 professional studies.
In addition, experience of administration of traditional JCT contracts and the ability to produce project programmes is essential as well as being a proficient user of AutoCad. Experience of NBS specification writer and contract administrator is desirable but not essential.

The qualified candidate will work closely with the project team to establish and implement project concepts, serve as a resource for and lead the development of drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and construction implementation, and be able to develop technical solutions in Revit.
