Project Brief
Design a range of high quality accommodation for elderly people in need of care, including dementia and specialist nursing requirements. Respecting the sensitive location, the proposed design should take a great level of care to produce a scheme that would not negatively impact on the local area or amenity of neighbouring residents through loss of light, privacy or overlooking.

Outcome
This resulting community development completed in 2017 consists of; St Ives House, a 60-bedroom care home with en-suite facilities offering 24- hour care, themed lounges, bistro and hair salon; St Ives Place, a collection of 14 one, two and three-bedroom stylish apartments providing assisted living, and; four spacious three-bedroom country cottages completing the scheme.
The design received a finalist award in the “Care Village Category” at Pinders 2018 (Pinders logo)
