The Solar Carve Tower has been designed for minimal intrusiveness on the High Line – by carving into the building volume, the maximum amount of sunlight is still able to reach the elevated park below. The office building will contain a total of 139,000 square feet, including a 10,000 square foot rooftop terrace and an 8,000 square foot outdoor space at the level of the High Line. According to the New York Post, all office floors excluding the 7th floor will also feature private terraces. The building has been designed to achieve LEED Silver standards. >>> |
