Renovation of John F. Kennedy International Airport, New York, USA
Renovation of John F. Kennedy International Airport, New York, USA
Proposed by New York governor Andrew Cuomo, the plan calls for a $10 billion renovation to New York City's busiest airport, transforming the facility into a "a unified, interconnected, world-class' complex." If implemented, these changes would help to accommodate for a continually growing passenger base, expected to reach 75 million people per year by 2030 and 100 million by 2050. At its current growth rate, the existing airport will reach full capacity in the next 10 to 15 years.
