Tower Ingolstadt by ATP architects, Ingolstadt, Germany |
|
The concept for the IN-Tower, a residential and commercial building in Ingolstadt, was the winner of a developer competition. It envisages a residential tower perched on a four-story base building containing a lobby and commercial space. In urban design terms, the 16-story tower acts as a link between the new station building and the “Glacis” – the green belt that surrounds the old town. The powerful tower accentuates the entrance to the new North Station. It will provide railway travelers with the clearly recognizable message that they have arrived in Ingolstadt. |
