Al-Adan Hospital by New Space Architects, Kuwait City, Kuwait

As international consultants in architecture, planning and engineering, Pace – the Kuwait-headquartered multidisciplinary firm – was appointed to undertake the Al-Adan Hospital expansion project. The expansion, one of the largest healthcare projects taking place in the State of Kuwait, was initiated by the Ministry of Health and is slated for completion in 2018. The project entails an assemblage of new diverse medical buildings comprised within a total surface area of 500,000 sq ms aiming to alleviate some of the pressure being placed on the existing hospital buildings and its facilities as the result of an average monthly patient flow of 40,000.
