MVRDV's concept for the new €50m Collection Building for the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen has been officially unveiled to the public in an open-air presentation held in the Museumpark and its street-side gallery. The 15,000 sq m Collection Building will be dedicated to the preservation of the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen’s artworks. The storage facility will be made accessible to the public and located on the gravel terrain of the existing Musempark, incorporated into the current landscape of the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen.
