Rosewood Sanya Finance Forum, Hainan Island, China

The smallest province in China, Hainan Island, is soon to gain an immense new hotel and conference centre complex from an internationally-renowned practice.

Once complete in 2015, the 233m-high 'lighthouse' tower will be split into 229 hotel rooms and 500 serviced apartments. Goettsch Partners arranged the internal layout so that all visitors staying at the hotel benefit from generously sized rooms and sea views, therefore all of the hotel units are confined to the east side of the tower.
