Architecture of Munich, Germany (Video clip)

Munich features a diverse array of modern architecture, although strict height limitations for buildings have limited the construction of skyscrapers.

A landmark of modern Munich is also the architecture of its two large sport arenas. The Olympic Park with its stadium was built for the Munich 1972 Summer Olympics, inspired by dew-covered cobwebs. The Allianz Arena by Herzog & DeMeuron is located in the northern suburb of Frottmaning.
