Republic Polytechnic is designed as an environmentally sustainable facility that encourages interaction and holistic development through sensitive planning and the innovative use of flexible and adaptable layouts.

The campus is oriented along a North-South and East-West axis for optimal daylight and thermal efficiency. The first project to be awarded the Singapore Green Mark Platinum award, the campus has a thermal energy storage system and pneumatic waste conveyance system, amongst other green features.
